Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White and the Illinois State Library are pleased to announce that Try-It! Illinois, the nineteenth annual statewide database trial, will be available October 1 through November 30. Try-It! Illinois offers library staffs and patrons an excellent opportunity to survey and evaluate a wide variety of electronic resources. Thanks to partnerships between the Illinois State Library and the participating electronic resource vendors, there is no charge for accessing these databases during Try-It! Illinois. Loda Township Library was first established in 1897 as A. Herr Smith & E.E. Smith Public Library. Although the Library was designed to resemble a Carnegie Library, it is not a Carnegie. Our small library is proud to offer computer access, wifi, e-books, inter-library loan, DVD's, and free bonded notary public.
