Mahlah Comfort Dog
We are saddened to share that our beloved comfort dog, Mahlah, has passed away. Mahlah was a cherished part of our library family, bringing joy, comfort, and calm to everyone she met. From story times to summer reading programs, children had the chance to pet her, read to her, and build special memories in her gentle presence. Mahlah’s kindness and patience made our library a brighter, more welcoming place, and she will be deeply missed. We are grateful for the many moments we shared with her and for the love she brought to our community.
The Trouble With Children (According to Dog) by Katie Weaver and Benny's Big Heart by Susan Montgomery have been purchased for the library in her memory.
